If this project has its own labour/plant/diesel rates set up in Baseline Rates, picking or refreshing crew & plant rows below will use those instead of the Standard rate.
Any direct cost per unit that doesn't fit Material, Labour or Plant — transport, permits, insurance, small tools, etc. Folded into the Direct Cost Subtotal before Overheads, Profit and Contingency are applied.
Contingency is applied last, as a risk buffer on top of the fully-priced rate — it does not itself earn profit.
"Export Filtered" exports only the current tab, respecting whatever Category/Item/Project/Month/Year filters and search text are currently active.
Import expects two sheets: Materials and Subcontract, each with columns Name, Category, Unit, Month, Year, Rate, Party, Project, Ref. Month can be a number (1-12) or name (e.g. "August"). Matching item names merge new rate entries into existing items.
Rename a project to fix a typo or standardize its name everywhere it's used — every material/subcontract entry, build-up, and baseline rate override tagged with it updates together. Renaming to an existing project's name merges the two.
Removes every material, subcontract package, and rate/cost entry — including the sample data — from both tabs. This cannot be undone; export a backup first if needed.
Used by the Plant / Equipment Type field in Baseline Rate, and its filter in the Baseline Summary.
Projects aren't a separate list you add to — this is every project name currently in use, pulled from your entries, build-ups, and rate overrides. Rename one to fix a typo or standardize it; renaming to an existing name merges the two.
Syncs this library to a private GitHub Gist so it survives across devices, browsers, and new file versions. On the deployed app, this works automatically — the GitHub token is held on the server (a Cloudflare Pages Function), never in this browser. Nothing below needs to be filled in unless you're testing a local copy of the file before deploying it.
These two values are only read when this file is opened directly from disk (file://), to let you test sync before uploading a new version to Cloudflare. They're ignored on the deployed app.
